Since 1990, the Eagle Room at Château de Flaugergues has been home to an exceptional décor painted by artist and engraver Diane de Montbron. These imposing panels tell the story of General Bonaparte’s campaign in Egypt in 1798.

During classic castle tours*, discover these works which honor the young general Bonaparte, future emperor Napoleon I, as well as the École Polytechnique students taking part in the expedition, not forgetting the temples and other vestiges of ancient Egypt. A journey through history and symbols.
