Event description

On Saturday 26 April at 6pm, 7.15pm or 8.30pm, come and (re)discover the interiors of the Château de Flaugergues by candlelight, led by a guide.

Do you know the Eagle Room at the Château de Flaugergues?

Since 1990, it has housed an exceptional painted decoration by the artist and engraver Diane de Montbron. The panels tell the story of General Bonaparte’s campaign in Egypt in 1798.

Explore these works that honour the young General Bonaparte, the future Emperor Napoleon I, as well as the students from the École Polytechnique who took part in the expedition, not forgetting the temples and other remains of ancient Egypt. A journey through history and symbols.

The tour begins in the château cellar with a welcome drink and fougasse.
